Adani Enterprises Ltd. and Wilmar International Ltd. are planning to sell a combined 13% stake in their joint venture, Adani Wilmar Ltd, valued at around $736 million. This sale is expected to take place as early as next month to comply with Indian regulations, which require that non-promoters hold at least 25% of a company’s shares within three years of its listing. Both Adani and Wilmar currently hold approximately 44% each in the venture, meaning their collective 88% stake must be reduced to 75%.
